Welcome Sam Davidson

A familiar face to many in the industry, Sam Davidson joined AgConnex in July as its grain merchant overseeing the Riverina region.

Sam came via Arrow Commodities, which specialises in bulk and container exports on the east coast of Australia. Having dealt with the team prior, he knew AgConnex would be a good fit when the grain merchant role came up.

“It’s a business we’d been dealing with in some capacity for 10 years. It has great foundations, and having gone through some change, it’s a great chance for me to put my shoulder to the wheel and work with growers to get the best results.”

Sam is looking forward to helping improve market access for Riverina growers and helping AgConnex to build and grow, with a focus on reliability and transparency. He knows the importance of being nimble, agile and providing great support.

“I’m looking forward to building more relationships and helping facilitate good growth in the region. The Riverina has been poorly serviced in the past and I see good opportunities to improve the situation.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to meet more Riverina growers as I get out and about on farm and chatting about how we can work together for mutual benefit.”
